Welcome to my first attempt at the blogging thingy
I’ve been motivated to start a blog, mindless rambling, look what we are up to kind of affair of our adventures of camping with horses.
2020/2021 was a big year of change for many because of that we shall not name. I came home from a fantastic globetrotting adventure https://www.globetrotting.com.au/ in New Zealand and ended up in 2 weeks self isolation at home with my amazingly tolerant husband (we spent a lot of time sitting in separate rooms watching the same TV show, we might have been sick of looking at each other).
Globetrotting sparked my interest all over again for camping with horses and watching another local rider head of on ride around Australia with his 2 horses, his wife driving the truck with their dog inspired me to look at holidays of a different nature in our backyard.
Fast Forward I have now have a few camping trips under my belt.
December 2020 – Albany & Wellstead Western Australia (WA) – 7ish days camping with two great friends (Sandy & Jane)

Easter 2021 – Weekend in Deepdene near Augusta WA with Sandy

May 2021 – Albany WA – Another 7 days adventuring in the Albany region with two great friends (Sandy & Sharon) and 1 dog (Beau).

June 2021 – Scott River WA – 2 night trip to friends 3000 acres in Scott River with the husband, 4 dogs and Sarge

July 2021 – Nannup – Overnight trip to ride the hills of Nannup WA with Sandy, Sharon and Beau

September 2021 – Three Springs WA Wildflower ride riding with Sandy and Jane and camping with Mal and Bonnie for 7 days

September 2021 – Onto Cervantes WA to meet up with the husband, QLD family and 2 dogs for another 7 days

Exploring WA with good friends and family has been great for the soul and in a bid to hang onto those holiday feelings and any tips I have learnt along the way I started this blog.
We have recently (yesterday) purchased a truck which I will fill you in on another post when I get through the backlog of holidays.
Hopefully this blog will encourage you to head out with your horse exploring or you’re welcome to ride along vicariously through Sarge’s ears.
